Bazi chart online — build your Four Pillars from birth date and time

By Inti Foundation · updated

Read your Bazi chart online right on this page: enter your solar birth date and birth time (or tick “birth time unknown”), and the tool builds the four pillars of year, month, day and hour from your birth date and time, then shows your Day Master and the balance of strong and missing elements. The calculation is done by Inti Soul’s deterministic chart engine: the same data always gives the same chart, no account is needed and your birth date is not stored. A chart describes tendencies and timing for self-observation; it does not decide your future. If you are unsure of your birth time, the result states what is missing instead of pretending to be precise.

No name or account needed, nothing is stored. For adults aged 18+. Without a birth time the chart has three pillars — see what you can read without a birth time.

Four pillars, eight characters

Birth year, month, day, and hour—without the hour, one quarter of the reading is missing.

Five-Element interactions

What matters is the relationship among elements, not isolated elements.

Tendencies, not destiny

The chart describes your material; it does not determine the outcome.

What Bazi can read

Most useful when you want to understand why some activities suit you and others feel difficult.

  • Personality tendencies and how you use your energy.
  • Prominent areas of life—work, relationships, and finances.
  • Time rhythms through major cycles and annual influences.

How Bazi differs from Tử Vi

Both use the time of birth but interpret it differently: Tử Vi reads the palaces in a chart, while Bazi reads the Five Elements and interactions among the four pillars. Comparing them shows which themes repeat.

What to prepare for an online Four Pillars chart

The tool on this page needs only your solar birth date and, if known, the hour and minute of birth; it applies the seasonal true-solar-time correction before setting the hour pillar. The version in your account also uses your birthplace to convert the time by longitude and your gender for the luck-cycle rules. Inti Soul keeps “birth time unknown” as a real piece of data: it still builds the year, month and day pillars and the Day Master, but it never treats a chart without the hour as complete. Check a birth certificate or ask relatives before choosing an approximate hour yourself.

  • Birth date establishes the three foundational pillars and calendar conversion.
  • Birth time establishes the Hour Pillar; crossing into another traditional two-hour period can change later interpretation.
  • Birthplace supports local-time conversion; do not substitute your current city.
  • Leave uncertain data blank or mark it unknown rather than inventing values to complete the form.

How to read the result without feeling overwhelmed

Start with the Day Master — the heavenly stem of the day pillar — then look at the spread of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth: which element is strongest, which is missing, and whether the Day Master is strong or weak. Only then read the relationships between pillars and the rhythm of the luck cycles. More of an element is not automatically good, and less is not automatically bad; the meaning lies in the whole structure. If an interpretation frightens you or pushes you toward a major decision, pause and return to real facts.

Frequently asked questions

Is the online Bazi chart here free?

Yes. Building the chart and seeing your Day Master and strong or missing elements on this page is free, with no account. A free account saves the chart and gives one overview reading; topic-by-topic readings are part of Premium.

How precise does Bazi birth time need to be?

As precise as possible, because the Hour Pillar changes with each traditional two-hour period. An error of one period can substantially change the reading.

Can Bazi say whether this year is good or bad?

It describes the period's context, not absolute good or bad fortune. Difficult periods often call for conserving energy, not fear.

Should I choose Bazi or Numerology?

You do not have to choose. The two systems examine different perspectives; compare them to see which themes overlap.

Can I use online Bazi without knowing my birth time?

Yes. Tick “birth time unknown” and the tool builds the year, month and day pillars with the Day Master; the hour pillar and the layers that depend on it stay empty. Do not pick a random hour just to complete the form.
