What Inti Soul's birth chart calculates

Inti Soul's astrology engine uses an astronomical ephemeris to compute where each body really was at the moment of birth (Vietnam time by default) and places it in the 12 tropical zodiac signs.

Ten bodies: the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto — each with its sign, degree and a retrograde mark when it is moving backwards.
The Ascendant and Midheaven, and 12 houses in the Equal House system (30° each, starting from the exact Ascendant degree) — only when both birth time and birthplace are known.
Five major aspects between the bodies: conjunction (8° orb), sextile (5°), square (6°), trine (6°) and opposition (8°).

What is missing without a birth time

Without a birth time the engine places the bodies at 12 noon on your birth date and leaves out the Ascendant, the Midheaven and the 12 houses rather than guessing them. The Sun and the slower planets barely move in a day; the Moon moves much faster (roughly 12–15° a day), so it can change sign on the day itself — Inti Soul's Moon-sign tool tells you whether that happened on your birth date.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a reading if I do not remember my birth time?

A chart can still be created from the date: the bodies are placed at 12 noon, and the rising sign and the 12 houses are left empty rather than guessed. If possible, check your birth certificate.

How do a zodiac sign and rising sign differ?

The Sun sign is the part most people know; the rising sign describes how you appear to others. Both are needed for a fuller reading.

Is astrology accurate?

It is a reference system for reflection, not a predictive tool. Its value lies in helping you see your current life context more clearly.
