What the app does for Zi Wei Dou Shu
Open Zi Wei in your account and you see a chart built from your own birth profile, not a general reading by birth year. These parts come with a free account:
- The 12-palace chart: each palace shows its stem and branch, the major stars with their brightness and some minor stars; the Soul and Body palaces are marked.
- The decade you are in is highlighted, with the age range of that ten-year stretch.

Inti Soul is a web app: open soul.inti.foundation in a browser and it works right away, and you can add it to your home screen to open it like an app. The Android version is on Google Play under the name Inti Soul, developer Inti Foundation. The app is not on the App Store; on an iPhone, open it in Safari and choose Add to Home Screen. Your birth profile is stored with your account, so you see the same chart on any device you sign in on.
One profile, four chart systems
The same birth profile also opens your Bazi chart, your birth chart and your numerology numbers. Bazi and Zi Wei both need the birth time but start the year at different points — the Start of Spring and Tết — so people born early in the calendar year can see a different year pillar in each system. A theme that repeats across systems deserves more reflection than any single verdict.

Five criteria for choosing a Zi Wei app
A useful app should help you verify its inputs and understand a reading's limits rather than only issuing verdicts.
- Accept accurate birth date, time, and place, and explain uncertainty when the birth time is unknown.
- Separate the natal chart, major cycles, and annual cycles so long-term patterns are not mixed with a specific year.
- Explain the basis for an interpretation instead of only labeling it good or bad.

What information is needed?
Your Gregorian birth date, birth time, birthplace and the gender used by the star-placement rules. Gender only changes the direction of the decades and of the Life Stage cycle, not where the palaces or major stars sit. If you are unsure of the birth time, record how sure you are.
How is a Zi Wei app different from a lifetime Zi Wei chart?
The lifetime Zi Wei chart is the natal map built from your birth data; the app is where you set it up, save it and come back to it, together with the decade you are in and the other systems on the same profile.
Can I use it without knowing my birth time?
Yes, but the chart is approximate: the engine sets it for the Horse hour and says so, because the Soul palace and the star positions depend on the birth time.
